About Us
Across the Globe, We Are United in Our Dedication to Better Healthcare
Our Story
Atam Foundation was founded in Ghana in response to the growing need for sickle cell and cancer advocacy, education, and support.
The name ‘Atam’ means ‘shield’ in Ga, a local language, symbolizing our mission to protect and support individuals and families affected by these diseases. Over the years, we have grown into a leading organization, working tirelessly to promote awareness, provide support, and advocate for policy change. Our team is passionate about making a difference and is committed to continuing our work until sickle cell disease and cancer are no longer a burden in Ghana
